Implementation Support

This series of training modules developed by NCII is aimed at district or school teams involved in initial planning or implementation of data-based individualization (DBI) as a framework for providing intensive intervention in academics and behavior.

These student meeting protocols are intended to support data team meetings for students receiving intensive intervention. The following documents are split into three sections: pre-meeting, initial meeting, and progress monitoring meetings.

Fidelity Resources

Monitoring fidelity is important throughout the data-based individualization (DBI) process. The resources include tools, videos, and webinars related to monitoring fidelity.

Through an exploratory study focused on five high-performing districts, which we refer to as the NCII's knowledge development sites, NCII uncovered seven key findings and developed five lessons learned about implementing intensive intervention.

NCII's Technical Assistance & Districts Approach

During the fall of the 2012–13 school year, the National Center on Intensive Intervention (NCII) began providing onsite support and technical assistance (TA) to 11 districts in Michigan, Missouri, and Rhode Island.
